Andrew S. Kucera is an attorney, real estate professional, and business advisor with a practice focused on real estate and business transactional law. Based in Kalispell, Montana, he is a founding partner of Clovis Law Group LLP (formerly Palmer Kucera LLP) and serves as principal and general counsel to Valley Vista Properties, a real estate corporation serving the Flathead Valley, Montana and Central San Joaquin Valley, California markets.
Mr. Kucera represents clients in a wide range of real estate and business matters, including transactions, landlord-tenant issues, evictions, contracts, dispute resolution, zoning and land use, entity formation, and corporate compliance. He is admitted to practice in all California courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. In addition to his legal practice, he is a licensed real estate broker in Montana and California, providing him with a practical, ground-level understanding of the industry he serves.
Mr. Kucera also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at San Joaquin College of Law in Clovis, California, where he teaches courses including real property, remedies, landlord-tenant law, drafting, legal technology, community lawyering, and law practice management. He has received multiple Adjunct Faculty of the Year awards.
He earned his Juris Doctor, Valedictorian, with High Honors from San Joaquin College of Law, an MBA from California State University, Fresno, and a B.A., Cum Laude with Distinction in Economics, from San Diego State University.
Beyond law, real estate, and teaching, Mr. Kucera is also a licensed fishing guide and emergency medical responder in the state of Montana, reflecting his strong connection to the outdoors and his community.
In his volunteer time, Mr. Kucera serves as a team member of the Flathead County Search and Rescue Association, with an emphasis in swiftwater/flood rescue and technical rope rescue operations.
Mr. Kucera is happily married with two great children. He and his family enjoy fishing, rafting, camping, hiking, backpacking, reading, gardening, and road trips.
